Applied Kinesiology In McKinney
Applied Kinesiology treats the body as a whole focusing on a structural, chemical, and mental level to achieve overall wellness
What is Applied Kinesiology?
Applied Kinesiology with our McKinney clinic utilizes muscle testing to evaluate how the body is functioning. When muscles are found to be out of balance or weak, this can be a result of spinal/cranial restrictions, allergies, organ dysfunction, nutritional deficiencies, toxicities, muscle injuries, postural imbalances, etc. These problems can be brought back to normal function by using various techniques such as spinal/extremity adjusting, cranial adjusting, TMJ work, neuro-reflexes, visceral work, soft tissue mobilization, exercise therapy, diet management, nutrient/food testing, and supplementation.

The goal of using muscle testing at our McKinney functional health clinic is to get to the root cause of a patient's symptoms and help the body return to its ideal state of health. Everything in your body is connected in some way and muscle testing allows treatment of each McKinney applied kinesiology patient in a specific way based on what his or her body needs rather than treating based on a "one size fits all."
