What should I expect?

People experience different symptoms every day and either have been diagnosed with a specific condition or have seen a wide variety of doctors who are not sure what is wrong with them. Have you been told your lab work is "normal" but you don't feel normal? This can be frustrating especially when medication is the only answer to resolve your issues. This is where our functional medicine doctor’s approach to holistic healthcare comes into play.

Our McKinney health and wellness office professional focuses on getting to the ROOT CAUSE of patient's symptoms/conditions and is then able to help in fixing these issues. She does this by assessing a variety of labs (ordered as necessary) and then utilizes Applied Kinesiology to find the root cause.

Applied Kinesiology is a diagnostic technique that uses muscle testing to identify any imbalances in the body that may not be detected with lab work. Using applied kinesiology we are able to bridge the gap between identifying issues from labs alone and can be more specific with each patient's treatment.

Treatment may consist of making changes to lifestyle, diet, and adding in any necessary supplements. The goal of treatment is to fix the issues you may be having and educate you on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and how you can prevent your problems from returning.
